  • #258–T – 32″ x 32″ x 1″ Tacky Too® bottom

All American Basic Comfort: All of our All-American pads are hand crafted in Cleveland,Tenn. Our unique construction methods allow for our pads to be engineered for ultimate performance. They have USA Hi-Tech fibers so the inside of your saddle pad is just as reliable as the outside.

Intelligent design for maximum comfort. The Comfort Flex pad has the unique flexibility to fit a wide range of conformations to provide horse owners a single pad solution for multiple mounts. Anatomically cut and contoured for added spine and loin relief. The unique cut at the back of the pad allows the pad to fit the shape of the horse over the loin instead of bridging. Also, the wither relief cut is great for high and low withered horses alike and it doubles as an easy carry handle. Tacky Too® bottom is a soft, non-slip material that is ventilated, pressure distributing, shock absorbing, and deceptively tough and durable.

Available in MicroSuede, Matrix Herculon, and Herculon colors. Look below to see the benefits of each pad material.

  • #234 – Stage A

    5″ Mouth 3″ Rings
    ½” Raised Snaffle

This bit is designed to decrease the discomfort at the corners of the horse’s mouth. It will not pinch. The extra 3” rings at each end of the mouthpiece float independently to disperse the pressure across the lip and cheeks to make the horse more responsive to the rider’s cue. The raised snaffle offers less tongue pressure for better feel at the bars and lips. Attach the reins to the floating dee outside the cheek rings.

Sweet iron naturally rusts into a light patina. The rust creates a sweet taste for the horse and makes the bit more acceptable and increases salivation for a supple mouth.

Are You Riding with Both Hands? Stage A bits are great for starting horses, training, or maintaining steady contact. Aspects include direct reining, non-leverage Loose Rings and Dee Rings with mouthpiece diameters 5/16” and over.

Reinsman’s Handshake Promise is a lifetime bit warranty from craftsmanship defects: Our commitment to you is to build the highest quality products from the best materials. Reinsman bits are warrantied to be free of craftsmanship defects throughout its useful life.

  • #447–T – 32″ x 32″ x 1″

This pad is designed to assist in fitting a saddle to a horse who experiences bridging across their back because of a lower than typical curve. Did you know a swaybacked horse can be young and underdeveloped, short coupled, or an older horse? The gap between the horse’s back and the saddle is filled in with this pad to create a better fit and level the saddle from front to rear in all voids. The Tacky Too® bottom offers a non-slip material that is ventilated, deceptively tough and durable which helps reduce sore backs and saddle roll.

RX Corrective for Maximum Back Relief: All of our Corrective pads are hand crafted in Cleveland,Tenn. Our unique construction methods allow for our pads to be engineered for maximum back relief. They have USA Hi-Tech fibers so the inside of your saddle pad is just as reliable as the outside.

Available in MicroSuede, Herculon, and Matrix Herculon colors. Look below to see the benefits of each pad material.

  • #344 – Stage B

    7/16″ Large Twisted Sweet Iron
    Snaffle 5″ Cheeks 5″ Mouth

A cheek with growing popularity. The short gag action collects a horse very well, and helps to get his legs underneath him and his rear end down. The large twisted sweet iron snaffle is very popular and adds some bite to the relatively light bit. Great for horses that try to lug on the bit or need a little more control.

  • #202 – Stage A

    ⅜” Stainless Double Five Snaffle
    5″ Mouth 3″ Rings

Encourages relaxation of the jaw because of the limited likelihood the mouthpiece will break down into the tongue or up into the palate. The Double Five copper inlay will increase salivation. Designed for the well-trained horse to comfortably carry all day long. The headstall ring aligns the mouthpiece at a pleasing angle in the horse’s mouth and prevents downward rotation of the mouthpiece when rein pressure is applied. Comparable to an English Kimberwicke without the leverage element. Allow your horse to relax and enjoy the trail as much as you do!

Mullen relief is used on all our snaffle mouthpieces which is a forward curve that creates even pressure across the bars and tongue to eliminate the nutcracker effect.

    GOLDEN GLIDE BUSHINGS –
    • Further enhance the smoothness of the independent cheek movement allowing for more precise cues
    • Eliminate the cheek connection from pinching the horse’s lips
    • Smooths the movement of the cheek piece for better feel and performance

Are You Riding with Both Hands? Stage A bits are great for starting horses, training, or maintaining steady contact. Aspects include direct reining, non-leverage Loose Rings and Dee Rings with mouthpiece diameters 5/16” and over.

Reinsman’s Handshake Promise is a lifetime bit warranty from craftsmanship defects: Our commitment to you is to build the highest quality products from the best materials. Reinsman bits are warrantied to be free of craftsmanship defects throughout its useful life.

  • #272 – Stage A

Off set with Billy Allen mouth
    3” Dee 5” Mouth

The Van Hargis Progressive Bit System was designed to gradually transition a horse from the two-handed direct rein communication of the Van Hargis Off-set D-ring snaffle to the subtle one-handed refined communication of the mild and comfortable Van Hargis All-Around Performance bit. Each bit further refines communication and prepares the horse for the next step of performance until the ultimate in communication and performance is achieved. This is a system of champions for champions.

This bit combines the qualities, features and benefits of my uniquely designed Offset D-ring snaffle with the versatile Billy Allen mouthpiece. This is a great bit selection for the horse tending to be a little loose in the neck and shoulders. The limited movement of this mouthpiece helps stabilize the shoulders while still being able to aid the horse laterally on the corners of the horse’s mouth independently. Sweet iron naturally rusts into a light patina. The rust creates a sweet taste for the horse and makes the bit more acceptable and increases salivation for a supple mouth.

“Whether I’m starting a young horse, tuning a performance horse or helping a horse overcome an issue, my first choice of bit is my smooth-mouth offset d-ring snaffle by Reinsman. With this bit, there’s no chance of ever pinching a horse’s cheeks because they are made with a unique brass bushing between the bit mount and the stainless steel d-rings.” – Van Hargis

Van Hargis is a horseman with a message. He is of today’s most versatile horsemen, a designation that reflects a lifetime devoted to learning-and communicating-the elements of superior horsemanship as applied in a variety of disciplines.

  • #442– #442–T – 30” x 30” x 1″

    Square-Contoured

This pad is designed to assist in fitting a saddle to a horse who experiences bridging across their back because of a lower than typical curve. Did you know a swaybacked horse can be young and underdeveloped, short coupled, or an older horse? #232-550 –  5 ½” Mouth, 3″ Rings

This bit was designed to decrease the discomfort at the corners of the horse’s mouth. This bit will not pinch. The extra 3” rings at each end of the mouthpiece float independently to disperse the pressure across the lip and cheeks making the horse more responsive to the riders cues.
